With the Super Bowl set to kickoff Sunday, Americans are gearing up for the big game by planning their game-day snacks. According to reports, the average American eats around 2,400 calories during the 4-hour game.
With that in mind, the team at Gambling.com conducted research on Google search data to determine the most searched for food items in Georgia during the Super Bowl weekend.
Topping the charts, with a staggering 129,984 searches, is Pizza Slices. Chicken Wings came in second with 75,964 searches, followed by Burgers with 68,971 searches. Other popular snacks making the top 10 list include Cookies, Chili, Ice Cream, Chips n Dip, Cheese & Crackers, Fries, and Meatballs.
When it comes to dips, Georgia residents were searching for Buffalo Chicken the most, with 5,587 searches. Salsa came in second with 3,553 searches, followed by Guacamole with 3,117 searches. Rounding out the top 5 list were Queso and Hummus, with 2,182 and 2,035 searches, respectively.
It is important to note that these results are based on Google Search Volumes for Super Bowl weekend in 2022.
With the big game just around the corner, it is interesting to see which snacks and dips Georgia residents will be indulging in.
