This Weekend: Don’t miss the Lake Lanier Boat Show

Start

The sparkling waters of Lake Lanier prove the ideal setting for Georgia’s Premier In-Water Experience.

Hosted on the docks of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands from Friday, Oct. 14 to Sunday, Oct. 16, the Lake Lanier Boat Show will bring together more than 15 area dealers and over 50 brands to provide a first look at new 2023 models.

Presented by the  Marine Trade Association of Metro Atlanta, more than 200 boats will fill the slips as event attendees are invited to get up-close-and-personal as they dream of future days spent exploring the open waters and quiet coves of Buford’s 58-square mile manmade lake. In addition to boats, the event will offer live music, food trucks, dock builders, lake life vendors and more.

“There’s a reason why more than half of all boat sales in the nation happen at boat shows,” said Tabor Reins, President of MTAMA. “There’s a high level of excitement at a boat show. That excitement will be majorly enhanced at the Lake Lanier Boat Show because our boats won’t be on a showroom or convention center floor. They’ll be in the water – where they belong. We’re hoping for sunny skies, so our guests will enjoy a true taste of the lake lifestyle. We’ll have food trucks in the parking lot and Landshark Landing will be serving up their entire menu just off the beach as music fills the air. While seasoned boat owners will be there to get a first look at 2023 models and benefit from exclusive pricing, we’re expecting a lot of first-time boat buyers. They’ll have plenty of boating experts at their disposal, so we encourage them to ask any and all questions they may have. When all is said and done, they might just walk away with the keys to a brand-new boat.”
