The Details: The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies were alerted to the shooting around 11:24 a.m Tuesday. The initial distress call reported a shooting. On reaching the location, the deputies found the lifeless body of a man in the driveway. Another injured man was found on the premises with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
A firearm was found close to the injured individual, leading to the belief that he was the perpetrator. The injured party was alive, though in a critical condition, when he was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of his severe injuries.
