CENTERVILLE — A husband and wife were both found dead in their Centerville home after the husband called police to tell them he had just shot his wife.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, preliminary information indicates that at 8:52 a.m., the Centerville Police Department received a call in reference to a person being shot. The caller was identified as 41-year-old Timothy Price. Price said he had shot his wife and needed help.
Price’s wife was identified as 36-year-old Catherine Price.
When officers arrived at the home in Centerville, they attempted to make contact with someone inside the residence, but they did not get a response. The Centerville Police Department then requested Houston County Special Response Team for assistance.

After several attempts were made to communicate with Timothy Price, SRT entered the home and found Timothy and Catherine Price both dead from gunshot wounds.
The bodies will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
