RICHMOND HILL — An arrest has been made in the death of a 5-month-old in Richmond Hill.
On Friday, Oct. 4, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Statesboro office arrested 30-year-old Matthew Lucas Bryant, for murder and cruelty to children in the death of a 5-month-old infant. The infant’s death occurred Oct. 2.
According to the GBI, The investigation and autopsy revealed that the infant died as a result of severe head trauma.
Bryant was booked in to the Bryan County Jail without incident.
