Porch pirates are becoming as much a part of Christmas as hot chocolate and gingerbread.
The Bartow Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about package thieves who have been captured on video in several neighborhoods throughout the county, thanks to doorbell cameras.
The department has received several theft reports of packages being stolen from residences in the Timberwalk Court, Cottage Walk, and Benfield areas.
Doorbell camera video footage has been provided by several of the victims in these incidents and the Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in identifying the subject(s) and/ or vehicle(s) in the videos.
