The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has arrested a suspect in the death of a woman following a shooting at an Atlanta home in DeKalb County.
Sheriff’s investigators arrested 33 year-old Quaveous Antwon Smith of Atlanta at a Belvedere Circle residence in Decatur Oct. 19.
According to the arrest warrant, Smith is charged with Murder in connection with the death of 67 year-old Atlanta resident Mary Clark, who died from injuries sustained when her home was shot up following an altercation between the suspect and a member of Clark’s family.
Smith was arrested without incident and transported to the DeKalb County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
