A Johns Creek man is in the Gordon County jail today after sheriff’s department officials say they caught him with a minor early Thursday morning outside a recreation facility.
According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston, at about 4 a.m. May 7, a deputy sheriff on patrol observed a suspicious automobile at a county recreation facility in the Sonoraville community.
Upon approaching the car, the deputy observed the driver, subsequently identified as 21-year-old Sergio Arturo Robledo, of Johns Creek, in a state of partial undress.
A female minor from Gordon County was also within the car with Robledo.
Robledo was arrested at the scene, and the juvenile was returned to her parents. A subsequent investigation into these circumstances resulted in charges of Child Molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
Detectives assigned to the case are continuing the investigation.
