Starting September 1, residents and businesses in the City of Norcross will see a 4.8% increase in their waste collection charges. This adjustment, in line with the city’s contractual agreement with Waste Management, mirrors the 4.8% rise in the Consumer Price Index for Water, Sewer, and Trash Services.

For Norcross residents, the increased fees will be reflected in their annual tax bills. Commercial entities, however, will notice the change on their monthly billings. The adjustment aims to ensure that waste collection services continue to meet the city’s standards without compromising quality.
