Four security officers at Fulton County Jail have been arrested and charged following an investigation into widespread contraband smuggling and serious misconduct. Among the charges, which include providing inmates with cell phones and engaging in improper sexual contact, one officer added a strange twist to the scandal by allegedly smuggling a chicken pot pie into the jail.

The confrontation occurred around 4:26 p.m. near the roundabout at Whitehead Road and West Broad Street in Sugar Hill, where the teenager had called 911, saying he was armed and a danger to himself and others.
