New Amazon Prime series tells the story of Georgia’s film industry

A new Amazon Prime series will give viewers a glimpse behind the scenes of Georgia's growing film industry. The series, Georgia Box Office, is available for free to Amazon Prime members and free with commercials for non-Amazon Prime members. The first two episodes have been released.

A new Amazon Prime series will give viewers a glimpse behind the scenes of Georgia’s growing film industry. The series, Georgia Box Office, is available for free to Amazon Prime members and free with commercials for non-Amazon Prime members. The first two episodes have been released.

The six-episode inaugural season features interviews with film industry professionals as well as tours of film businesses. It features people that have worked on productions such as American Idol, The Fast and Furious franchise, as well as the Marvel movies.

“This is a very exciting time for us,” states Sheena Wiley, producer and host of Georgia Box Office. “Amazon is great fit for GBO as we continue to grow our audience across different platforms.”

In the first episode of GBO we take a tour of the Warner Bros. Prop Department in Atlanta. Then we sit down to talk with casting director Winsome Sinclair about her amazing career in finding the right people for the right roles. Finally, we take a tour of the new and improved Center for Puppetry Arts where we get an up close look at Jim Henson’s Muppets.

Episode 2 Synopsis

In this episode we head to a farm that raises plants for movie sets. Then we talk to one of the editors for the Emmy-winning Archer series. Finally, we travel back in time to cook up a unique dish from the 1950’s with a food stylist.
