MACON — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Bowden Homes located at 2301 Houston Avenue.
The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at about 9:39 p.m. on Monday.
According to the Sheriff’s office, a physical altercation took place between several people which led to one of them being stabbed. The other people involved in the altercation fled the area immediately.
Law enforcement and Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene.
The male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance and is currently listed in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
