Filming Projects Will Cause Traffic Delays in Norcross

Gwinnett County is already getting a reputation as a hub for the film industry, and that continues this week with filming crews closing several roads and parking lots in the Norcross area.

NORCROSSGwinnett County is already getting a reputation as a hub for the film industry, and that continues this week with filming crews closing several roads and parking lots in the Norcross area.

Due to filming productions the following roads and parkings lots will be temporarily closed.

S. Peachtree St. parking lot, The Crossing parking lot, Betty Mauldin parking lot, City Hall parallel parking spots and parallel spots on Jones St. after Skin Alley will be closed effective on Wednesday, June 15 at 7 a.m. through Friday, June 17 at 7 p.m.

Downtown merchants will remain open. Business will display “business open” signs and “available parking signs” for further guidance.

S. Peachtree St. will be closed from Jones St. to Holcomb Bridge, effective on Thursday, June 16 at 4 p.m. through 10 p.m.
