The Jones County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2,782 calls for service in February, the agency said in its monthly activity report.

What’s Happening: Deputies conducted 1,083 traffic stops and served 335 warrants and civil papers during the month. Patrols covered nearly 69,000 miles across Jones County.
