17-year-old Symone Thompson has been missing for a year

UNION CITY -- March 2, 2021 marked one year since Symone Thompson vanished from Union City, at 16 years old. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, and Symone’s family are seeking the public’s help in finding this missing girl.

UNION CITY — March 2, 2021 marked one year since Symone Thompson vanished from Union City, at 16 years old. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, and Symone’s family are seeking the public’s help in finding this missing girl.

Symone was last seen at her home in Union City, Georgia. When she was last seen, her hair was in purple braids. Investigators believe she could now be in the Memphis, Tennessee area.

Both photos above are of Symone. She would now be 17 years old. According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Symone is 5’7″ tall and weighs 130lbs.

She has black hair and brown eyes and her ears are pierced.
