Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment has reopened its doors to the public after a 7-week closure that was mandated by the State of Georgia for all non-essential businesses in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19.
“The health and well-being of our guests and team members is our top priority,” said Chris Albano, owner of Stars and Strikes “During the time that Stars and Strikes was closed to the public our management team was hard at work modifying our facilities to ready them for re-opening under both Federal and State guidelines. This was a very substantial undertaking, necessitating new operating processes in each of our core businesses”
New processes and procedures developed include new cleaning and sanitation procedures, sanitation stations situated throughout the facilities and social distancing requirements on the bowling lanes, arcade, and restaurant areas.
The video above was produced by Stars and Strikes showing how the company’s staff have been trained to meet the challenges of social distancing in an environment like a bowling alley.

“We are very happy to announce that our Georgia and Tennessee locations are open for business” Albano said, “Our Stars and Strikes team is excited to welcome our guests back to fun. Every effort has been made to provide an environment where government guidelines have been met, and our team is ready to roll”
Why it Matters: When Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp first began opening Georgia up after the coronavirus lockdown, he specified bowling alleys as one of the businesses that could resume operations. This thrust bowling alleys into the public spotlight and left many Georgians wondering how bowling alleys would reopen and what precautions they might take.
