DeKalb County police are searching for a missing 72-year-old man who was last seen in Decatur earlier today.

What’s Happening: A Mattie’s Call has been issued for 72-year-old Jerald Bailey. He was last seen before 10:30 a.m. today leaving the 2800 block of Monticello Place in Decatur.

What’s Important: A Mattie’s Call is Georgia’s emergency alert system for missing adults who have a mental disability or cognitive impairment, such as dementia. It works like an Amber Alert, but for adults.

What He Looks Like: Bailey is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans, a beige jacket, and black shoes.
