The U.S. Navy and Air Force will showing their support for Georgia’s frontline workers in the coronavirus pandemic today when The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds fly over metro Atlanta.
The flyover is scheduled to begin at 1:35 p.m. and is expected to end at about 2 p.m.
The flight path will start in Marietta and will make its way through DeKalb County before looping up to the Roswell and East Cobb areas. Next, the jets will head through Atlanta, arriving over Forest Park at about 1:45 p.m. They will make a final loop from Peachtree City to Brooks before finishing at 2 p.m. in the Newnan area.
The Navy and Air Force are reminding residents to observe the flyover from the safety and comfort of their own homes and not to travel to see it.
The flyover will last 25 minutes. The flight path is below.
