SNELLVILLE — Two arrests have been made in connection with the robbery of a teenager in the bathroom of a Gwinnett County Publix.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Dept., 18-year-old Roderick Doral Fountain and 18-year-old Alim Njai Yilla, both of Snellville, were both arrested on Thursday, Dec. 26, and booked in to the Gwinnett County Jail. They have each been charged with one count of Robbery.
According to the original report from the Gwinnett County Police Department, two men confronted and trapped a teenager in the bathroom of the Publix at 3550 Centerville Hwy. in Snellville, where they robbed him of his iPhonehone and Apple AirPods.
According to the police report, the teen victim was using the bathroom at the Publix location when he was confronted by two men that he didn’t know. The men blocked the door and refused to let the teen leave until he gave them his iPhone and AirPods.
Once the men took the items from the victim they immediately left the store.
