GRIFFIN — Police in one Georgia city decided to spread some holiday cheer instead of traffic citations last week.

The City of Griffin Police Dept. participated in an activity the department dubbed “Operation Naughty But Nice,” in which officers pulled drivers over for traffic violations, but instead of giving them tickets, they gave the motorists gift cards for Christmas.
