Two juveniles charged with threats against Wheeler County school

ALAMO -- Two juveniles have been charged in connection with threats against a middle Georgia school earlier this month.

ALAMO — Two juveniles have been charged in connection with threats against a middle Georgia school earlier this month.

On Oct. 18, the GBI charged the two juveniles with False Report of a Crime and Disruption of a Public School. 

These charges stemmed from a school threat that was reported on Oct. 9, involving Wheeler County Middle and High School.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was asked by the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an investigation into the threat of violence at the Wheeler County Middle and High School.

According to the GBI, through investigative activities that included information obtained from interviews, the threats were determined to originate from two juvenile offenders.
