High speed chase in Fayette County ends in three arrests

What Happened?: On September 15, around 5:20 p.m., deputies say they spotted a stolen car leaving the QuikTrip close to Highway 85 and Corinth Road. The suspects sped off, leading to a chase that ended when they crashed near River Mist Drive.

According to the sheriff’s department, the trio then dashed on foot but were caught in nearby woods just 30 minutes later, thanks to a combined effort from local police and the sheriff’s office.
