Two brothers arrested after shooting of 15-year-old

LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett Police Homicide Unit has arrested 18-year-old Jaden Hull, of Dacula and his brother, a 16-year-old minor.

On June 7, Gwinnett Police responded to a “person shot” call on Great Shoals Circle in Lawrenceville. Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot.

Officers rendered aid, and the victim was transported to the hospital.

During the investigation, detectives identified Hull and his brother as the suspects in the shooting following a confrontation between the three males. A 9mm handgun was located following the arrest of Hull and his brother at the arrest location.

The brothers have both been charged with aggravated assault and possession of firearms during the commission of certain felonies. The minor has an additional charge of possession of a firearm under 18 years of age.
