A 73-year-old woman died in a car crash last week that closed portions of Pleasant Hill Road for more than an hour.
The crash is still under investigation and occurred Friday at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Arc Way. According to teh Gwinnett County Police Department, 73-year-old Valerie Dunham, of Lawrenceville, was killed when her Honda Fit turned left from Pleasant Hill Road onto Arc Way westbound in front of a Toyota Camry.
Dunham died at the scene as a result of the injuries that she sustained in the crash.
Investigators are asking witnesses to the crash to contact the police department with any information that they may have.
