MACON — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that was reported at 3775 Houston Avenue at the KZ Green Apartments, at 5:02 p.m Saturday.
Deputies responded to the address to perform a welfare check on a resident who had not been seen for a week.
When they arrived, deputies found a deceased 35-year-old man in the residence. The Sheriff’s Dept. has not released the man’s name as his next of kin has not yet ben notified.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. The victim was last seen about a week prior to being discovered.
