Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for the two Cobb County deputies who were killed ambush-style in the line of duty last week.

Funeral services for Deputy Jonathan Randall Koleski will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, at NorthStar Church at 3413 Blue Springs Road in Kennesaw.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. with the service starting at noon.

The burial service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery at 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road in Canton.

Deputy Jonathan Randall Koleski served the residents of Cobb County with the Sheriff’s Office for 15 years and was a veteran of the US Army. 

Funeral services for Deputy Marshall Samual Ervin, Jr. are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, at West Ridge Church at 3522 Hiram Acworth Highway in Dallas.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m, with the service at 2 p.m.

Deputy Marshall Samuel Ervin Jr. served with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office for seven years.

The two deputies were gunned down while serving a warrant last week. Two arrests have been made in their deaths.

The Sheriff’s Office has placed a memorial in front of the Sheriff’s Office Visitation Center at 1877 County Services Parkway in Marietta. This memorial is open to the public to pay their respects.
