Key highways and numerous local roads have become impassable due to rising waters and washouts. The main arteries affected include Georgia Highway 23 and US Highway 301, which are closed at the Long-Tattnall line due to bridge closures. Additionally, flooding on US 301 at Ivy Durrence Road has resulted in the closure of all lanes in both directions. Highway 169 is also shut down from Tison to the Evans County line, further complicating travel in and out of the area.
