The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently working on two separate motor vehicle accidents, causing heavy traffic delays on I-85 Southbound and I-85 Northbound.

Traffic on I-85 Southbound is currently shut down between Beaver Ruin Road and Pleasantdale Road with all southbound traffic being diverted to Beaver Ruin Road.

Additionally, traffic on I-85 Northbound is experiencing delays due to a separate motor vehicle accident between Jimmy Carter Blvd. and Indian Trail Road.

Motorists using these roads are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

No information on the condition of the motorists has been released.
