The northbound lanes of Ga. 400 from Martin Road to Bottoms Road in Forsyth County are scheduled to have power structure transmission line installations via helicopter, starting Monday.
In addition, a small portion of Bottoms Road will also see transmission line installation.
The installation work is expected to take up to three days to complete, and construction schedules are subject to change in the event of unfavorable weather conditions.
The scheduled hours for the work will be approximately between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
The use of a helicopter to install power transmission lines is a common practice, as it can provide a safer and more efficient means of construction. The method minimizes the impact on surrounding structures and reduces the amount of time required to complete the work.
