BIBB COUNTY — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Williamson Road and Bloomfield Drive this weekend.
According to police, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling North on Bloomfield Drive. A black GMC Denali was traveling on Williamson Road. The vehicles collided in the intersection of Williamson Road and Bloomfield Drive.
There were six children in the vehicle with the driver of the Jeep, a 6-year-old boy and five girls, ranging in age from 10-years-old to 5-years-old. They were all taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and are listed in stable condition at this time.
The driver of the Denali’s 9-year-old niece was in the vehicle with her at the time of the accident, they were taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center. The driver of the Denali is listed in stable condition at this time, her 9-year-old niece is listed in critical condition.
The traffic accident is under investigation at this time to determine fault.
