A 22-year-old man is dead after a crash just after midnight on Eisenhower Parkway near Laveta Drive in Bibb County.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a 2018 Dodge Charger that was traveling east on Eisenhower Parkway, collided with a parked 2007 Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda was identified as Sonny Chatman.
He was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance and was later pronounced dead while at the hospital.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was not injured.
This collision is under investigation. There are no charges or citations at this time.
