On September 19, Northside Elementary staff successfully revived a student who went into cardiac arrest upon arrival at school. Nurse Ashley Washington and teacher Emily Brockway provided critical rescue breathing and CPR, utilizing an AED, restoring the student’s pulse by 7:58 a.m. Their actions were officially recognized by the Coweta County Board of Education.
