Heavy rains and damaging wind may be in order for residents of Northern and Central Georgia Wednesday as a cold front stirs up heavy storms. North Georgia could get up to three inches of snow tonight

Snow has already started falling in parts of North Georgia, but temperatures aren't low enough yet to cause it to accumulate. That will change starting around 6 p.m. tonight when the wintery mix is expected to turn into snow and could accumulate between one to three inches Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
