Cherokee Recreation and Parks successfully hosted the Live Like Laken 5K, raising over $29,000 for the Laken Hope Foundation. The event attracted 731 participants, supporting women’s safety, nursing scholarships, and children’s healthcare improvements. Winners were Nathanael Spivey and Isabella Kennison, with times of 18:18 and 20:47 respectively.
