Georgia’s death toll from coronavirus continues to rise, reaching 23 deaths from the virus as of noon Sunday. The death rate from the virus in Georgia now stands at 3.83%.

The number of deaths have risen by 3 since the Georgia Department of Public Health’s 7 p.m. Saturday status update and 9 since the noon update.

A total of 600 cases have now been confirmed in the state, up 93 in the last 24 hours.

So far there have been 4,020 total tests processed. The largest affected group in Georgia continues to be those aged 18 to 59.
