According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 14 people in Georgia have died since 7 p.m. last night from coronavirus. The total number of deaths statewide is now 139, up from 125 last night. Georgia’s death rate from the virus stands at 3%.

The total number of cases in Georgia is 4,638. Georgia’s hospitalization rate for COVID-19 is about 20%.

The majority of cases of COVID-19 in Georgia are still found in residents age 18 to 59. Those 60 and older make up 35% of the total number of cases.

Georgia continues to increase the amount of testing. As of noon, 20,326 total tests had been processed.
