They know how much your house is worth. They ask too many questions. And some of them have even invited themselves over.
🔎 What’s Happening: A new survey by Secure Data Recovery found that Georgia has some of the nosiest neighbors in the country. The survey reveals that more than 40% of residents say they’ve been asked inappropriate questions by a neighbor.
🗣️ Who’s Talking: Georgians report high numbers of intrusive questions. The survey ranks the state seventh in the nation for nosy neighbors asking about jobs and salaries. It also found that 41% of residents have been asked how much they spent on personal purchases—one of the highest rates in the country. And just as many say a neighbor has invited themselves over without an invitation.
🤔 Why It Matters: Neighbors can be a great support system—but some might cross the line. Whether it’s unwanted questions or uninvited guests, Georgia residents report feeling uneasy about how much some of their neighbors want to know.
