The Gist: Crabapple Fest, Milton’s signature fall gathering, is back with more vendors, more activities, and even more ways for the family to have fun. The event is October 7, promising an action-packed day for upwards of 35,000 visitors.
The Details: Slated for Crabapple Road between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., the festival offers a wide variety of attractions, including 24 food vendors and numerous shopping options. The Kid Biz Expo, spotlighting young entrepreneurs, will be bigger this year, extending its hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. And don’t forget the college football screenings at Crabapple Market, in addition to its regular eateries.

Traffic Adjustments:
Getting to the festival will require a detour. Crabapple Road will close from Heritage Walk to Mayfield/Broadwell Road starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 6, for setup, reopening around 10 p.m. the next day. Alternate routes will be available along Heritage Walk.
