The popular stage comedy “Clue,” inspired by the classic Hasbro board game and the 1985 cult film, is scheduled to hit Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from January 28 to February 2, 2025. The show will be part of the 2024-2025 Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta season. Tickets go on sale November 22 and can be purchased online, by phone, or at the Fox Theatre box office.
“Clue” brings audiences a lively murder-mystery comedy featuring iconic characters like Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, and Mrs. Peacock. Directed by Casey Hushion, the story unfolds at Boddy Manor, where guests find themselves embroiled in intrigue, blackmail, and comedy. With a cast led by Christina Anthony as Miss Scarlet, John Treacy Egan as Colonel Mustard, and Jeff Skowron as Wadsworth, the production promises a night filled with suspense and humor.
The play, based on Jonathan Lynn’s screenplay, was written by Sandy Rustin with contributions from Hunter Foster and Eric Price, along with original music by Michael Holland. Scenic design by Lee Savage, costumes by Jen Caprio, lighting by Ryan O’Gara, and sound by Jeff Human add to the immersive experience.
Originally developed by Cleveland Play House and produced at Bucks County Playhouse, “Clue” has been touring North America to strong reviews. Theater Mania calls it a reminder of “what a breezy night of pure entertainment feels like,” while Broadway World hails it as “extraordinarily entertaining.”
