An e-bicyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run on Ferguson Avenue Wednesday. Police have arrested a woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
What’s Happening: Chatham County police arrested a woman for a hit-and-run that left an e-bicyclist with potentially life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon. The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on Ferguson Avenue.
The Details: The victim, an adult man, was found at the scene and taken to a local hospital. Through their investigation, police officers were able to find the suspected driver involved in the crash.
The Charges: Police arrested 52-year-old Tara Denise Collins Greenway. She was booked into the Chatham County Detention Center and is charged with hit and run, serious injury by motor vehicle, and DUI.
