A Warner Robins man was attacked with a box cutter and a stick before his car was stolen during what started as him giving two acquaintances a ride.
🚔 What Happened: Charlie Haslem was giving Tameisha Carter and Neal Speer a ride when Carter allegedly attacked Haslem with a box cutter. Haslem managed to pull into a driveway on Meadowdale Drive where he escaped from the vehicle, but Speer then allegedly attacked him with a stick.
🏥 The Victim’s Condition: Haslem suffered injuries to his head and neck during the assault. He was transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.
🚗 The Aftermath: The stolen vehicle was later found abandoned on South Pleasant Hill Road. Witnesses told police the suspects fled to a nearby residence at 110 South Pleasant Hill Court.
👮 The Arrests: Police secured both the vehicle and the residence. After obtaining a search warrant, officers arrested Carter and Speer without incident. Both face serious charges:
- Aggravated assault
- Armed robbery
- Hijacking a motor vehicle
