A domestic dispute at a Hiram apartment complex turned deadly Sunday afternoon after a woman stabbed a man before being shot by police, authorities said. Both the suspect and the victim died at the scene.

Officers found a man and woman involved in a physical altercation, with the woman armed with a knife. Police said the man died from stab wounds before officers could intervene.

When officers attempted to subdue the woman with a Taser, she reportedly advanced toward them with the knife. Police then fired their weapons, striking her. Officers provided emergency aid to both people, but the man died at the scene. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. No officers were injured.
