LAMAR COUNTY --Georgia state troopers and Lamar County Sheriff's officials are asking for the public's help locating a red pickup truck that was involved in a hit and run collision.

LAMAR COUNTY –Georgia state troopers and Lamar County Sheriff’s officials are asking for the public’s help locating a red pickup truck that was involved in a hit and run collision.

The crash, which caused a serious injury occurred Feb. 2 at about 7:45 p.m. on Ga. 7 northbound in the area of Shirley’s Surplus and Sales.

The vehicle authorities are searching for is a 1994 through 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. The pickup is red in color with a gray accent on the lower portion of the vehicle. The pickup should be missing the lower air dam, located below the front bumper, and have front end damage.

It is unknown if the pickup is a regular cab or extended cab Chevrolet S-10.
