AUGUSTA — Richmond County authorities are searching for a 41-year-old man in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred earlier this month at an apartment complex in Augusta.
Rodrigus Antaun Freeman is wanted following an incident at Walker Estates Apartments on Peach Orchard Road on September 9, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Freeman stands 5’11” and weighs approximately 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators say he is known to frequent the High Street area in Augusta.

Authorities are warning the public that Freeman should be considered armed and dangerous. Warrants have already been filed in the case.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Freeman’s whereabouts to contact Investigator Tanner Baughman or any on-call investigator at 706-821-1097 or 706-821-1020.
