Dr. Alex Alvarez, currently the Director of K-12 Science, STEM, Gifted, and AVID at Valdosta City Schools, will serve as the interim principal of the high school. Alvarez, who boasts more than 17 years of service with the district and almost 22 years in the field of education, steps into the role with ample experience under his belt.
