The Georgia Secretary of State’s office will host a free She Leads webinar, “From Service to Success: Navigating Entrepreneurship for Veterans,” on November 20 at 6 p.m., providing targeted resources to help veterans transition into business ownership. Led by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, this session is part of an ongoing initiative to empower veterans in their entrepreneurial journeys.

“Now we’re serving them as a key partner in their future financial success,” Raffensperger said, highlighting the office’s commitment to supporting veterans’ post-service careers.

The webinar will cover essential business topics for veterans, including funding options, business planning, and investor presentation preparation. Hosted by award-winning journalist Donna Lowry, the event will feature expert speakers, including Tim Craig, Director of Business Development for the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce; Kimberly Lankford, financial journalist; Crystal McPherson of the Better Business Bureau; and Reggie Thompson, Director of the Georgia Veterans Business Outreach Center.

The event includes live Q&A segments, offering attendees personalized advice on navigating entrepreneurship after military service. Attendees can join via phone or online, making it accessible for participants across Georgia.

The She Leads series, part of Raffensperger’s financial literacy initiative, seeks to increase financial knowledge across the state. Veterans and all interested Georgians can register for this empowering webinar.
