HomeArea.com released the Cities In Georgia With The Highest Percent of People In The Labor Force.

The rankings are based on the latest Census Bureau data for cities with a population of 60,000 or more.

In addition to job opportunity, having a high percentage of people in the labor force makes a city more attractive to live because local governments will have higher revenue from taxes and fewer costs associated with social programs.

Here is the list starting with the best to buy:

  1. Sandy Springs, GA: 74.0%
  2.  Johns Creek, GA: 71.9%
  3. Alpharetta, GA: 69.7%
  4. Roswell, GA: 69.6%
  5. Warner Robins, GA: 68.0%
  6. Atlanta, GA: 67.5%
