Perimeter Transportation Summit to focus on metro Atlanta’s transit needs

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber, in collaboration with the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts, will host its Perimeter Transportation Summit on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The summit will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center at 246 Perimeter Center Pkwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30346.

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber, in collaboration with the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts, will host its Perimeter Transportation Summit on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The summit will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center at 246 Perimeter Center Pkwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30346.

The summit will focus on the Metro Atlanta area’s growing transportation needs. Over a delicious plated lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of industry experts: Richard Fatzynytz, Administrative Services Director of State Farm Insurance Company; Scott Haggard, Director of Government & External Affairs of the ATL Transit Authority/State Road and Tollway Authority; Ann M. Hanlon, Executive Director of the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCIDs); Vanessa Levingston, Program Communications Manager of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT); and Melissa Mullinax, Chief of Staff, Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). The summit’s panel will be facilitated by Bill Baker, General Manager of Perimeter Mall – Brookfield Properties. The Chamber is looking forward to the launch of the summit in hopes that it will facilitate necessary & productive conversations about improvements in transportation and infrastructure.

One of the major resources needed to fulfill future needs is that of transportation,” President & CEO Stephanie Freeman said, “we hope that this summit will provide business leaders and community members with insight on what is being done to accommodate our transportation needs, so that we can have the full infrastructure to readily experience the economic growth in the region.”

Attendees are required to register in advance. Advance registration will end on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 1 p.m. The cost of attendance for members is $45.00; the cost of attendance for prospective members is $55.00. Payment is required by credit card at the time of registration.
