The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has arrested a suspect in the Jan. 19, shooting death of Charles Smith on Wyndham Park Circle in Decatur.
A warrant was issued on Jan. 20 charging 27 year-old Decatur resident Brandon Tyrone Smith with Felony Murder and alleging that Smith was shot several times and died on the scene.
No possible motive was reported.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit apprehended Mr. Smith at a business in Atlanta and transported him to the DeKalb County Jail without incident.
