Peachtree City will soon have a Trader Joe’s grocery store at 258 City Circle, Mayor Kim Learnard announced after touring the location with new general manager Reggie Jones.

What It Means For You: You’ll have a new grocery option in Peachtree City, though the exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet. Trader Joe’s locations are a big deal, as not every city has one and the grocer is selective about which cities it opens in.

What’s Happening: The store is part of the city’s push to bring new businesses to its village centers. Mayor Learnard said revitalizing these areas has been a top priority during her time in office.

The store is now hiring 60 positions.
